We believe that keeping it simple leads to a design that remains classic and timeless.
With a space that needed to serve as formal entertaining yet be casual for the family, the decidely western influence can be seen in the furnishings and accessories without being fadish.
With a collection of 5 original Nietos to set the tone, the dining spaced was filled with color and warmth including a desert yellow for walls and stagecoach red accents on the chairs.
Dining should be a fun time with family and friends around the table and with bright, clean colors as background, this client takes their meals, plays cards and reads the morning paper in this light and airy space.
Design needs to be functional and low on maintenance but it doesn't mean that it can't be great looking, too
Functionality comes from including accessible features to the elements of the design. Roll-outs, pull-outs and plenty of lighting permit this kitchen to be a universal design for anyone of any age or ability.
This master bathroom showcases sustainable materials but also features a heated floor, accessible cabinetry with doors that disappear, clean~lined hardware and a variety of lighting sources.
The tub and shower of this master bathroom works well to age in place. Curbless shower features teak wood floor and bench, rain head shower head and natural stone walls.
Aging in place doesn't have to mean institutional in look. This spaces features a motorized bed and great overhead lighting but also a place to retreat from the pressures of the day.
The client said Have fun with the guest room and we did. Since they were world travels, we created an expeditions theme with artefacts from their travels as accessories.
For this dining room, we were asked to make the space suitable for formal dining or quick breakfast bites. Banquette seating and armless chairs provide seating around a glass top table with a favorite canvas art as the focal point.
The client wanted a warm but neutral palette.. one that would not compete with their expanding, evolving glass art collection. Less color is more in their family room with elements that included flexible spaces for the client's collection.
The client asked us to create a classic, timeless entry to their investment firm's suite of offices. Quiet, understated and without pretense defined the criteria.
For this office space, green materials were chosen... including recycled carpet tiles, low VOC paint and wallcoverings and LED ceiling fixtures, which afforded them with lower operating costs.
To maintain flexibility, the client requested we use and refinish furnishings and fixtures when possible. This small meeting space used a recycled table and chairs to provide for casual meetings.
