Contemporary Interior Design. This home is overlooking the Phoenix Biltmore. This Bachelor wanted a sleek, modern home, with an artistic edge to display an art collection, for which I consulted him on selections. The sectional sofa is from the Holly Hunt Collection and many furnishings in the home were custom designed for him.
Game Room, Siverleaf. This comfortable space was designed for entertaining the whole family and has a gentlemen's club swagger. The red leather sofas and deep lounge chairs are perfect for watching sports or a movie. From this second story room, you see gorgeous views of Scottsdale to the south and the McDowell Mountains to the north.
Living Room, Silverleaf. I designed this Santa Barbara Style interior to have the fireplace design as the dominating feature. To further embellish this room with Santa Barbara influences, I had a local artist hand-paint the stencil design on the large beams and corbels.
Master Bath Remodel. This Copper Soaking Tub became the centerpiece of this rustic territorial styled master bath. The clients love color and wanted to feel wrapped in warmth is this space.
Mid-Century Modern:I partnered these Knoll Barcelona Chairs with my custom designed cocktail table with red and slate colored lacquer. Everything coordinates with the colors in this modern Great Room. This became the perfect spot for a cocktail while watching the sunset over Phoenix.
Contemporary Guest House:The Christian Liagre table and Mid- Century Modern chairs are used by guests for a dining table, game table, or desk. The Egg Chair Designed in 1958 by Arne Jacobsen is an extremely comfy chair as well as a sculptural piece.
Contemporary Remodel: I often am asked to incorporate some of the client's own furnishings with my designs. If the pieces are true to the look, I am happy to work them into the floorplan.
Powder Bath Remodel: The clients wanted a glamorous space for their guests during entertaining. I used a chiseled edge on the marble countertop with a custom wave shaped cabinet with bronze details. The sink is bronze and the walls are bathed in a luxurious Venetian plaster.
North Scottsdale Kitchen Remodel: I removed all the pink granite from the 80's and white-washed cabinetry. I combined two finished in the kitchen to give it a unique custom look. The glass backsplash shimmers on the walls.
North Scottsdale Kitchen Remodel. The client wanted a kitchen that felt lived in, yet inviting. I chose different finishes and designed the cabinets to have different depths to make the pieces seem that they were found at antique stores and pieced together. The kitchen is warm and friendly. A perfect place to gather and entertain.
Scottsdale, Desert Highlands Kitchen Remodel. The clients have an extensive art collection and love clean contemporary lines. I designed this contemporary kitchen to have areas for the art collection to be viewed as well as simple clean lines. I reconfigured the kitchen to have built in wine cabinets, a curved island and a comfortable sofa for great hours of conversation.
North Scottsdale Kitchen Remodel. Art collection display and custom cabinetry make this breakfast area inviting and sleek.
Contemporary Remodel: I designed this buffet for the clients dining room that has clean lines and mother-of-pearl tiles for a hint of glamour.
Territorial Style, Scottsdale Remodel. The clients asked for color and I created rustic cabinets with a textural black finish to coordinate with hand-painted tiles and a concrete countertop.
Territorial Remodel with Commissioned Artist's Design on Fireplace. I teamed with local artist Joan Baron to infuse this territorial remodel with the colors of the desert. The Entertainment cabinet was custom designed and made by a local craftsman. The Mimi London cocktail table enhanced the theme and the Chihully sculpture popped it with color.
Master Bath Remodel. I removed the sunken tub and put the shower in it's place. This opened up the space and opportunity for the beautiful free-standing bath. I designed a larger window to enhance the view of the mountain.
Powder Room. This room was added by reconfiguring the space of the guest wing. Color was on the order for this fun textural powder bath. A mesquite slab that a local craftsman cut and waxed was used for the vanity.
Ancala Kitchen Remodel. I removed the yellowed oak cabinets, countertop of pink granite, and dated appliances. The clients love carvings and rich colors, so I created a custom splash for the rangewall of marble mosaic and had a local cabinet maker create the new cabinetry with carving details to coordinate with the mosaic.
Ancala Kitchen Remodel. The unorderly walk in pantry was removed to add order and space to the kitchen. Pull out pantry cabinets that look like antique armories were used instead. The lighting was selected to add the jewelry to this kitchen.
Territorial Remodel North Scottsdale: A welcome guest bath for a weary Cowboy. Just a fun bath in the clients Scottsdale getaway retreat!
