With more than 28 years’ experience and 16 ASID Design Excellence awards, Libby Copeland, ASID is well established in the Arizona interior design community. She excels in programming, space planning, furniture design, and lighting design. She possesses extensive product knowledge and an innate color sense. Libby approaches each project with great warmth, style and drama and attributes her success to truly listening to her clients, understanding their needs, and being respectful of their wishes while professionally guiding them to achieve their ultimate goals.

Libby launched her design career at the Design Studio at Barrows, where she remained for almost 12 years, establishing herself as an award-winning residential designer. She then established her own firm, Copeland Interiors, in 1992 where she specializes in residential design, with occasional commercial projects, incorporating a variety of distinctive styles.

Having been educated in both art and interior design, Libby has her own specialty contractor license and works closely with architects and general contractors to provide unequaled service to her clients. She studied art in Kentucky and Chicago at Murray State University, the Chicago Art Institute and the American Academy of Art

Libby was certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) after passing its rigorous examination in 1983 and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She is a former president of the Arizona North chapter of ASID and has chaired numerous chapter committees. Libby has also taught advanced interior design classes at the community college level.

Incorporating a straightforward, quality design aesthetic has always been this interior designer’s philosophy.
