Showroom Manager
Job Description:
Horizon Art, an established wholesale art business, seeks a Showroom Manager for its showroom and gallery in Scottsdale. This individual is expected to manage all aspects of showroom operations and provide top-notch sales and customer support. The successful candidate must be personable, organized, a good communicator and capable of generating sales independently.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• greeting walk-in clients and client outreach/marketing
• design assistance/consultation and sales of art and framing, accessories and furniture lines
• client order management
• manage inventory and related systems
• showroom appearance, styling and events
• manage the company’s social media efforts and assist with marketing initiatives
• various office/administrative functions
This individual will be part of a small team and ability to operate as part of a team on a collaborative basis is essential.
Compensation for this position is a fixed salary plus sales-based commissions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and credentials:
• minimum of three years experience in a relevant design and sales capacity
• experience in showroom merchandising and organizing product displays and samples
• outstanding communication skills, ability to develop sales collateral and presentations
• computer skills, including experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop and CRM applications
• knowledge of/experience with art is a plus
